Real-Time Monitoring
Anticipation and proactive efforts have the ability to turn a potential environmental calamity into a manageable situation. With the ability to deliver real-time, critical environmental data to and from locations around the globe, GEN is able to offer professionals one comprehensive resource to help them gather, analyze, and report on a multitude of environmental conditions from potable water status to data on airborne pollutants...tracking animal migrations to time-specific weather analysis.
Using a variety of environmental sensors which transmit data to a communications uplink, a downlink to a database server and an interface with the Internet, information can be delivered in real-time water temperatures, wind speeds, toxin concentrations, polar ice cap activity and a veritable plethora of environmental conditions. Through continual broadcast of data, changes in status of any particular interest is available to those who need the information the most, and, critically, when they need it the most.
Access is available, through subscription, by users from anywhere in the world in real time. Practical applications offer three key features:
Threshold Trigger Notification, storing profiles that trigger a response at specified levels
Time Series Analysis, available through archived historical data gathered by the Network
Automatic Delivery of Customized Data, allowing automatic updating of data based on a personal archive for a particular query. |
